Worship Dance
This is why we dance! The purpose of dance is to give honour and glory to God through worship. We perform to outwardly express our worship and to draw others into the presence of God. Worship dance can reflect many dance styles and we use a wide variety in our dances. There are many types of classes offered at Daybreak but all are for the purpose of building a wide dance vocabulary to be used in worship dance.Soli Deo Gloria is Daybreak Dance Studio's performing company. Students from Grade 1 and upwards have the opportunity to participate in a Soli Deo Gloria performing group. In the past we have performed in musicals and with Christian singers. We have danced for nursing homes, fundraisers, outreach and many churches across Canada. Performances vary from prayer and worship to dances that deal with issues such as abortion. Through performance we seek to shine God's light and love and draw people closer to their Heavenly Father.
